SHA Services

SHA (Social Health Authority) is Kenya's national health insurance scheme replacing NHIF. Registration is mandatory for all Kenyan residents. It provides access to affordable healthcare at accredited facilities nationwide including inpatient, outpatient, maternity, and specialized care.

With our assistance, SHA registration typically takes 1-2 hours during business hours. We handle the entire online application process for you — from form filling to membership number issuance.

For individuals: National ID, phone number, next of kin details, and employment information (if applicable). For dependents: birth certificates (children), marriage certificate (spouse), and their ID copies.

Employed: 2.75% of gross monthly salary (deducted by employer). Self-employed/Voluntary: minimum Ksh 300 per month. Contributions are based on your declared income. We can help with premium amendments if needed.

Yes! You can update your dependents, contact information, employment status, income details, and other profile information. We assist with all SHA updates — fee is Ksh 100-200 depending on the type of update.

SHA is accepted at all government hospitals and many private facilities across Kenya. We can help verify if a specific facility is accredited. The list includes Kenyatta National Hospital, Moi Referral, Aga Khan, Nairobi Hospital, and most county hospitals.
